You will need great patience and effort to clean the pipe slowly in order not to end up with a broken spring in the pipe.
With this electric drill driven drain snake, you do not have to spend hundreds of dollars to hire a tradie. Now you can do it yourself. No special technique required. No training needed, no license needed.
This product comes with sections of snake springs. This black spring is designed for storm water and longer distance cleaning, which has 3 meter long in each section. It can also be used for toilet or small drain pipes as long as it can enter from the exit. The soft spring is usually in chrome or bronze color, and is mainly used for cleaning of sink, toilet, or shower. It is much more flexible than the blackspring.
BLACK SPRING:
Passing through curves or U trap is difficult at the far end, but easy on the near end, while the soft spring (2.5m) is more suitable in this case.
You can always connect the springs together to make it as long as 24 meter in overall length.
Note, the additional 2.5m soft spring can’t be connected and extended to the black spring. It is suggested to use alone with the shank adapter only.
This product comes with changeable drill bits, which has 6 different types with different functions.
Black drain snake is capable of unblocking clogs caused by soft organics or wastes, such as hair, oil, papers, tree roots, leaves, muddy stuff and other soft blockage. You can always sharpen the blades of the drill bit to cut through the tree roots.
However, if the muds,small stones, sands or pepples enter into the pipe and mix up with the tree root, you may need even greater patience to clean the job, or even fail in the end.
Using black springs to clean the toilet may end up with a scratched surface on the bottom of the toilet bowl as a result of the friction from the spring when it bends itself through the curve.
This product uses only electric drill as the main power source, and it comes with the shank adapter, please see one of the pictures for instructions.
