TiAIN Coated Carbide Burr’s are ideal for cutting stainless, carbon steel and other hard metals.
The coating (aluminium nitride – a hard ceramic coating that is bonded to the burr) keeps the burr teeth sharp for a longer period of time compared to a regular double-cut burr. It is excellent for faster cutting, as friction is reduced.
The Ball Nosed Tree shape specifically is suited to rounding off edges and making concave cuts.
