I picked this from Toolmart over several others that were cheaper on the basis that in 40 yrs I have never had a Makita product fail to live up to expectations.
I am not dissapointed with this.
It hoes through the steel with gusto. The blade which I blunted prematurely due to inexperience was very quick to change.
I’ve made a simple mount for clamping it in the vice to use as a bench type saw and will make a pivoting cradle, with vice soon.
Very happy.
