For the price this an impressive solid bit of kit.
I had a $90 Ryobi from bunnings started doing some heavier work and consequently blew it up.
Cant believe the Makita was only an extra $50. The fact it can be turned upside down using the added stand and used as bench sander/linisher is an extra added bonus.
Would recommend this product in a heartbeat.

Very impressed by the Makita. I got to say the value for money is unbeatable. And as Muzz already said, its a solid bit of kit and has plenty of power. As a bonus, you’ll get a good workout handling the 6kg machine.
