The Absolute feature means there is no need to Zero the system when turning on. The Zero position will remain in the caliper even after being turned off.
The advantage of this is that the user can be sure they are working from the absolute origin and therefore all measurements are set from the same origin point.
This decreases the possibility of a measurement error.. Available online with other Moore & Wright products.
