Yamaha 6300w Inverter Generator Yamaha Australia

DisclosureDescription
On sale Yamaha 6300w Inverter Generator. We replaced an existing 5.5 Kva red (H) generator on our off grid system that was starting to get a bit long in the tooth and was loading right up and at times struggling to run everything at once when needed. I looked at the direct replacement of the H genie and the Yamy 6300i, both were on par with each other with the usual pros and cons when doing the research, long story short was the Yamy had a couple of features that suited our needs and was in stock and available whereas the other wasn’t available.
The 6300i is doing the same job with ease at 3/4 load and the efficiency appears to be streets ahead of the old genie and the remote start is so handy.. Browse our range of Yamaha products available on sale in Australia.

Carroll Ferguson –
Just purchased my second one after I ran my first one for almost 3000 hours for my coffee cart. My coffee machine and a few other appliances draws quite a bit and I operate 5-6 days a week usually, so it was probably working harder than me! You just can’t beat the quality of the Yamaha: never had any issues with it. This is one of the most expensive inverter generators out there, but it’s worth the spend to get something that does the job. I doubt many other brands would go the same distance on my weekly workload. Thanks, C

Gladly endorse this machine as it has been the key source of power to run our food vans over the past year of festivals and events. For Adelaide Cup we ran the main van as well as our smaller setup off the genny and it ran everything all day and I was relieved and impressed. The coffee machine pulls the most power and noise ramps initially to start it up, then purrs away in the background as we run everything else as needed. It is not overly thirsty from our use and myself or other staff had not any problems yet. Really good generator in my opinion.

Fantastic generator that does everything we ask of it at our remote bus depot; Lights, Vacuum Cleaners, Computers, Printers, plus a charge panel for bus travelers. It’s quiet even when it’s running several things, very fuel efficient and rolls around easily. Couldn’t get by without it.
Peter Cannon –
The generator is simple and quiet and easy to move around. I have still not had the pleasure to see how much it will run but I am comfortable that it will run more in the house than what we need in a power-out.
Rob Silva –
Very happy with the Yamaha EF6300. Very straightforward to commission, although getting the battery out of the housing and back in again after filling with Acid was a bit awkward.
Easy start, easy to operate. I’ve had a smaller 2kW Yamaha inverter generator which I’ve been very happy with and I was happy to pay the premium for the Yamaha over some of the cheaper brands.
If I was being super critical, I’d say:
– non-captive nuts on the battery mount inside an enclosed compartment is a problem waiting to happen and there is a potential for heartache waving a spanner about inside a confined space with a fully energised battery in situ. Would prefer to see wingnuts used.
– would like to see swivel wheels on one axle. I don’t fancy my wife’s chances of manoeuvring the generator from its storage location into its operating position
Mark Stuart –
These Yamaha generators have been fantastic and carry out everything I require of them easily and without hassel.
Alan Edge –
I found that it was fairly easy to commission and the instructions in the handbook easy to understand. It is easy to start and very quiet when running. As yet, we have not had any power ooutages and so am unable to comment on its performance in those circumstances. However, from the comments of other purchasers, I have no doubt that it will keep us ‘ticking over’ when the occasion arises. I, like another comment, found the removal and reinstallation of the battery very tricky and feel that, maybe an extra two/three cms. of space would make the job easier. I found it very easy to move around but, like another comment, found it difficult to ‘steer’. Again, perhaps thought might be given to making one pair of wheels swivel, as I am sure that my wife will find it difficult to manoeuvre. Otherwise, very pleased.
Barry Allen –
Starts first try, not too noisy and glides nicely on the four wheels.
Barry Allen –
Works well, not too noisy and starts first go.

As an owner of a food truck I need quality and reliability. This generator wins hands down. Doesn’t miss a beat and has so much power a customer is never left waiting due to any electricity shortage.
Great value and awesome service
Ken Nelson –
Received this generator securely packed, it was delivered a day earlier than expected.
I had read the reviews prior to purchasing, so was aware installing the battery was going to be a little tricky but not difficult.
Brilliant machine and very happy with it.
I guess my only advice is to purchase the oil at the same time as when you are buying the generator.

Trevor Morgan –
I am very happy with the Yamaha generator, quiet, easy to start and does the job I require with ease.
Paul Norvill –
We bought this generator for our House Boat, to replace the one that was on it.
Not only looks great but the noise volume has more than halved, so quiet you can hardly hear it from inside.
Very happy with the Yamaha 6300w Inverter Generator

We recently purchased a Yamaha EF6300ISE from mygenerator, for our new business, a mobile coffee van, and we couldnt be happier.
The generator is super quiet, and easy to move around. It is efficient with fuel and does the job super easy.
We couldnt recommend this generator highly enough for people setting up a coffee van or cart, as long as you have fresh air coming into the engine to operate properly, and also sufficient area for exhaust emission.
Thanks to Matthew and the team at mygenerator for providing great information and tips on products, easy purchase and fast delivery, with follow up customer service. We were so happy with the way it was packaged for protection.
Regarding the generator battery, it was easy to take it out and re-install after filling it.
Thank you,
Jamal

This Yamaha generator is the best of the best. As compact as you can get for its power output. Although its close to 100kg its still easy to move around as it has very solid wheels. Starts easily and runs quietly for it’s output and seems good on fuel. Variable power switch helps the unit to run more efficiently. A very easy unit to operate. Really happy with it during first outing running coffee machine and other bits in coffee trailer.
Dave Clark –
Doing the job of powering up our caravan with ease……..and very quiet.
Thanks for your help.
David Yeardley –
The unit is a pleasure to work with, running very quietly even when it is under load. The instruction manual is easy to follow and commissioning the unit after delivery is very straight forward although replacing the battery after filling is a bit tricky. The wheels are a good size so that running over rough terrain or graveled surfaces is no problem. For anyone wanting this sort of power output from a portable generator should look no further than this model. Not the cheapest on the market, but the all round quality easily justifies its purchase price.
Best regards, David Yeardley

We love the Yamaha 6300w Inverter Generator. It is super quiet, low on fuel in the economy mode and starts first time, every time. Prior to purchasing the generator, we were not able to operate all of our equipment at once without causing the power to short. As a food van, we need to operate multiple pieces of equipment at the same time. Our only ‘not to do’ advice – do not chain the generator to the frame of the van to stop thieves if where you are chaining it is near a tyre. It turns out, the generator blows a lot of heat, excessive heat on the tyre causes tyres to swell and explode. Exploding tyres are very loud, customers run, vans shake and emergency services are all over the venue in a flash. On a positive note, the chain stopped the generator from flying through the air and the only damage is a little crack in the plastic frame. The best thing, once we stopped shaking with fright, we were able to start the generator again first go and it ran like a charm.

The generator I purchased was excellent.

This is my second Yamaha generator both purchased from My Generator. The 6300 is compact, reliable and quiet. It is easily the best generator I have used.
Mike Bent –
This is an amazing bit of equipment. It is portable and although on the heavy side very easy to move around. It starts first time every time and has got a huge amount of power to run almost anything. We are using it in our motorhome and being portable if we need it for anything else we simply unhitch it from its secured spot and wheel it to where it is needed. One of the best things we have purchased for sure.
Jivanta Howard –
Purchased Yamaha 6300i for a coffee van. Main reason to choose this one is the operation noise, Yamaha is so quiet, comfortably talk right next to it. And all the power I need to drive coffee machine, grinder, fridges and toastie machine and lights. Wow . Happy to have made this my power. supply.
Stephen Ney –
Well made and very quite unit to run. Exactly the quality you would expect from a Yamaha product, top notch..
